SyFy Channel sure loves sharks and freak beasts. From Two Headed Shark Attacks,
Sharknados, and Ghost Sharks, you would think that they would run out of
ideas. Nay, says Syfy channel, as they put a "new" twist on an old
classic.
SHARKTOPUS is back, and here to help. Tonight, August 2nd at 9/8c debuts Sharktopus vs Pteracuda where we find a scientist doing that dumb stuff by creating a half pterodactyl, half barracuda beast. Of course this Pteracuda escapes, and it's up to Sharktpus to stop him. Yeah, you heard me.
Sharktopus reminds me of a modern day, low budget CGI version of Gamera. Gamera got his ass around stomping seeing the land, fighting monsters making friends.
You will be dazzled by the acting of Robert Carradine, Conan O'Brien and Katie Savoy among others. It should be quite the experience. So if you were too broke to go check out Guardians of the Galaxy or Lucy this weekend, order a pizza and turn on Syfy channel. If you don't have time for that and want to watch the whole movie in one minute and fifty four seconds, hit up the trailer. It pretty much shows you all the deaths and the ending.
Also stay tuned for later in 2014 when Sharktopus gets some more play in Sharktopus vs. Mermantula.... yep.
